Appointment Advice & Prices
Veterinary surgeons consent is required prior to treatment and must be obtained before the appointment. This is in accordance with the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966, which ensures that animals are only treated by those qualified to do so.
Please avoid riding immediately before the appointment and be prepared to allow one or two days off work following the treatment. As horses may require alternative or reduced exercise routines for a number of days post treatment, avoid booking appointments prior to competitions or planned events.
Ensure the horse is clean and dry to allow accurate assessment and treatment of muscle and soft tissue.
Initial treatment will last approximately 1-1.5 hour’s dependant on the findings during examination, with follow up sessions often being shorter in duration.
A number of treatments may be required for complete resolution of musculoskeletal dysfunction, with follow up sessions being recommended on an individual patient basis. 1-6 treatments may be prescribed for chronic conditions.
